A subscription store for a small coffee roaster.
A family roastery in Vila Madalena sold most of its coffee at a weekend market. They wanted a store that felt like the counter, not like a marketplace.

The problem
Orders came in through messages and a spreadsheet. Regulars wanted the same bag every two weeks, but there was no way to set that up, and every order needed a manual Pix payment check.
What we did
- Kept the hand-drawn labels and built the visual language around them: warm paper colours, one serif, no stock photography.
- Built the store on WordPress with a subscription flow: choose a roast, a grind and a rhythm — weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
- Set up Pix and card payments with automatic confirmation, and shipping rates for the city and the rest of the state.
- Wrote short origin stories for each coffee with the roaster, so the product pages answer the questions people used to ask at the stall.
After launch
Subscriptions overtook one-off orders within the first three months, and the market stall became a place to meet customers rather than to take orders. We still look after the site on a monthly care plan.
